After wimping out on a overnight trip yesterday i awoke this morning to glorious sunshine.Gutted.Don't know when ill have the chance again,December is always a busy month for me and this year is no excemption and once the little one is born i can't see myself getting away for quite some time.

Well i did have a 48 hour pass for this weekend,so what happened.Well the first 24 hours was lost to some crazy Russian billionaire who booked a party for friday night so i ended up working.So i thought i would get away on saturday as Adriana was having her baby shower.I got the food all ready for her this morning and with gales blwing and the rain moving in the horizontal direct i started to pack my bag.After several views of the bbc and met office sites and more phone calls to my parents in sussex and even more looks out the window i convinced my self that it was too wet and miserable to go camping.And what happens,ill tell you the wind drops the rain stops and the clouds depart for a reasonable night,BOLLOCKS sorry for that but iam disappointed in myself,i knew deep deep down i should of gone.I have also more than likely missed out on a night under the tarp now.The baby is due on christmas day so thats 6 weeks away and i have only one free weekend between now and then and i still have to hand paint winnie the pooh and friends on to the walls of the nursery. Oh well looks like iam off to mothercare tomorrow.

Well what a September we have had,its been amazing down here in the south.Last week i managed to get down to Sussex with a couple of friends for 2.5 days of walking which was great.I'am still finding it hard to get time on the computer at the moment so sorry no trip reports.Work is pretty crazy at the moment and iam about to do my first private job today so have been busy preparing the food for that. On the baby front Adriana is looking amazing right now 6 months in and the bump is getting bigger.We now know that we are having a little girl and are thrilled to bits.My life is going to change for ever in December but for the good I know that time in the wilds will be come even more precious once the baby comes and i hope i can get one more camp in before november but it will be tough.

Well today i finally hit that big number 40.I have had a great week leading up today with 2 nights camping down in Sussex followed by drinks last nights with friends. Today we are off to the cotswolds for a couple of days for some much needed time together after all the hardwork and stress of getting our house decorated. I'am a very lucky 40 year old as my present from Adriana was a nice shiny new Macbook pro which iam using to type this entry. lucky Me

Well I'm back from a fabulous 3 days mountain biking on the South Downs.The weather behaved it's self,with only the odd shower. The full report will have to wait due to the house being in a total shambles due to painting and decorating. Full service should resume in about two weeks once all the rooms have been finished.
