I'am now off work for a few days, August is very quiet in the catering trade,so i hope to get a few days of DIY in but not today.I had a nasty skin tag removed from upper thigh this morning so i have been taking it easy just pottering around the house.Managed to turn my 2 KG of blackberries into 9 jars of fine blackberry jam.I really enjoy making jam its so easy and so cheap.I have not bought jam or marmalade for about 5 years now.I also got around to planting on some leeks that my dad gave me.

My easy life will be over tomorrow though when i recomence on the DIY,the front of the house weatherboard to sand and reproof.

My other project today was to try to capture on film the bees that love my old lavender plant but so far no luck.
